After almost a year on a hiatus, Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla is finally back in the limelight. Presently, the 25-year-old fiance of Aljur Abrenica is part of the primetime series “The Cure” — wherein she is not only given the chance to showcase her prowess in acting but also to show off her abs and perfectly toned body.
Indeed, Kylie was more than determined to get back to her pre-baby body after giving birth to her son, Alas Joaquin, who will be turning one this August 4.
So much to that, the former “Encantadia” actress shared on Instagram last month that being a mother is both challenging and fulfilling on her part. On one of her posts, the first-time mom wrote:
“My more productive days as mama. [two heart emojis] and yes I lost the baby weight but I want you to know I was happy either way. Fat or skinny, I was and am happy.”
In her previous interview with GMA News, Kylie shared that she believes motherhood isn’t an excuse to stop taking care of one’s body.
“Naniniwala kasi ako na kahit na naging nanay ka na, you have to take care of yourself pa rin, you have to feel beautiful pa rin.”

She then shared how she managed to regain her fit body.
“Jogging, boxing. Tapos minsan ‘yung bahay namin maraming floor, akyat-baba lang ako doon.”
At the same time, Kylie also revealed that she returned to her first love, which is Muay Thai. According to her, Aljur has been her constant workout buddy. On March 9, Kylie took to Instagram to chronicle her rigid training. She wrote:
“Masakit lahat, buong katawan ko. Araw-araw, paggising hanggang pagtulog training lng ang nasa isip namin. Ang kulang lng sa ‘kin nun, yung fighter’s mentality. Wala akong pinaglalaban. Ngayon, meron na.”
Indeed, her efforts weren’t for nothing, since the change in her body is certainly unmistakable. With that, if Kylie made it, so can you!
