Many people are very familiar with whirlwind romances. This happens when two people fall in love with each other in a very short amount of time. We often see this happening in movies so some are still skeptical if this could take place in real life. Surprisingly, an Indonesian celebrity proved that it could very well happen in reality.
It all started when businessman Pablo Putera Benua matched with the popular TV host Rey Utami on a dating app. This is the moment when he made his first move. Pablo immediately asked the Indonesian celebrity on a date and she agreed!
Pablo and Rey’s first date turned out well and they definitely enjoyed each other’s company. This led to the pair have their second date the very next day at a car dealership! It seems like Pablo has his own way of creeping into Rey’s heart. The generous guy purchased her an expensive Honda HRV car which costs around $28,000 (PHP 1.5 million).

If you think his gift was expensive enough, wait until you hear his next gift on the third day. He even became more generous and gave her a $300,000 (PHP 16 million) watch. Surely, he is not the roses and chocolates type of suitor.
In an interview, Rey revealed all these lavish gifts and how much they cost.
“After our first meet up, he bought me a Honda HRV car on the second day. On the third day, he bought me a Rp 4 billion [US$307,988] watch,” she said.
From that day, things became more exciting for the couple. Usually, weddings take months and even years of planning. But they managed to do it in just three days. Rey narrated how they made their wedding happen in just a snap of a finger.

“On the fourth day, he asked me to marry him. He met my parents on the fifth day, we made preparations for our wedding on the sixth day and on the seventh day, we got married,” she told.
On July 23, exactly a week after they first met, the two exchanged vows in a private wedding. There were only 40 people who attended to make it intimate. In addition, they probably wanted to avoid the prying eyes of the public. People were quick to criticize that Rey only married him for the sake of money but she contradicted it.
