LOOK: Filipina baker Aila Sim Yonzon does not live by the rules

There is an unspoken societal standard that dictates how people should act once they get married and once they have children. People are expected to be more conservative, more mindful of their words and actions, and overall just more modest than how they might have acted when they were wild and single.

But Filipina baker Aila Sim Yonzon thinks otherwise.

Sim Yonzon works with her husband in running “The Bunny Baker Café and Cake Studio,” a custom cake making business.

She finished her education at Immaculate Conception Academy, an all – girls Chinese – Filipino school, and got her degree of BS Management Engineering at the Ateneo De Manila University. Just with these facts alone, people might have already thought that she acts a certain way or lives a certain way.

But despite these notions and questions and disbelief from her family and friends, Sim Yonzon just goes about her life posting risqué photos of herself and her incredibly fit body with the support of her husband and three children.

When she celebrated her 36th birthday, she posted a lengthy caption on her Instagram page that showed just how well she is handling her lifestyle and how nothing will stop her from continuing it.

“some people might wonder why i do what i do. i know some women who wonder why i, a wife and mother, would post pics of myself. i’ve heard people say it’s inappropriate, heck, my own mother thinks that i shouldn’t dress [provocatively] because i’m a mom. because i’m a wife.

the thing is, i do it BECAUSE i’m a wife and mother. i do it for myself and not to try and get some guy’s attention. i already have my guy and his attention. he supports what i do all the way. my husband has been my rock and cheerleader for over thirteen years. he’s loved me at my worst, and he has always motivated me to be my [fittest], most confident self.” she posted along with a photo of herself in a cute matching underwear set.

“i turn 36 today, and i do what i do to prove to myself and to other women that we can be confident after three kids. as much as my husband has pushed me to come out of my shell, it was only with instagram that i finally saw what he insists he’s always seen (he’s a liar, though, because he said i was [fit] even when i was pregnant like a whale). with @instagram, we took pictures that allowed me to see just how [incredible] i could be.

i work hard on my health, i try to hit the gym hard, and even though i could probably work harder on my diet i think i’m in good shape. i’m proud of that hard work, and i want to be able to show it. In fact, now is about the best time to do it because at the end of the day, i have a husband and kids who love me unconditionally and won’t judge me for being myself.” she added.

“i believe women should be confident and not worry about what others think. my husband definitely appreciates it! i think that being a strong, confident woman is a good example for my kids, too. i want my daughters to be confident in their skin, and i want my son to respect and admire strong women.
